Riyadha Mosque is 300 metres from the guest house. The room was nice, with a balcony, although there was a small bathroom, it was everything we needed. They remove the rubbish so that was nice. It had a mosquito net and a fan. The host was very nice, he offered to meet us at the dock.

There are a lot of good and not expensive restaurants around. The owner of the house did all to make it more than comfortable, arranged a pick up from the airport, gave me a free upgrade of the room, asked every day if I need or wish something, helped to find a amazing boat tour and enable to stay in the house a few hours longer. At the homestay, all units are equipped with a private bathroom. Evrything was good. Water could have been warmer somedays and electricity, but we didnlt die :) So peaceful, clean and beautiful place, for sure we are coming back.

This beachfront property offers access to a patio. When staying at the guest house, guests can use private entrance. Our stay on Manda’s side at Mangrove House was truly wonderful. The location is unmatched, the peace and quiet are absolute. The staff is wonderful and so is the owner, super attentive and ready to help and share. The house is right in front of Shela and Peponi hotel, just a short boat trip away. Would absolutely go back, and recommend it to everyone going to Lamu!
