I booked this room as a "getaway" from the hustle and bustle of Central Tokyo and it didn't disappoint. Located just 8 minutes from Sakurajosui Station, it's in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of character. The host, Yumi, is an amazing person. One of the warmest people I've met on my travels. Clean beds, clean bathrooms, a record player in the shared space. It was a great experience and the value for your buck is absolutely insane. I will say that if you do book here, try to do more than a few days. I felt like I was becoming a part of the neighborhood right when I had to leave after 3 days of being there. Highly recommended, everything was amazing, even down to the cool set of keys each guest receives for the house. Will definitely re-book in the future.

Set just 15 km from Motomachi Port, 築100年の宿【はぶの家】 features accommodation in Oshima with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. Everything was on point! Such a mesmerizing atmosphere, very comfortable, but also historical and so connected to nature! The food was beyond excellent! We liked everything, and would like to come again and again :) Thank you very much for your hospitality!

Clean cozy property in quiet suburb but with close links to central areas. Amy was so hospitable and welcoming!

The hosts are a very lovely elderly couple who hosted us with great warmth and hospitality. We felt so at home, even though if we communicated via the Google Translator (this is totally viable)! The room is very cozy and has a magnificent view on the Tama River down below. We definitely recommend to take the breakfast option: it is a traditional Japanese breakfast prepared by the hosts, it was very delicious. They have two cute cats, which visit while you eat. We regret staying only for two days!

Lovely family, great amenities, decent location, nice views, hammock. I’ll be back for when the weather is better!

In the Shinagawa Ward district of Tokyo, close to Togoshi-ginza Shopping Street, No Borders Hostel features free bikes and a washing machine. It's a small hostel, but it was never really noisy and the doors to the rooms are also noiseproof. Ash, the hostel owner, is great and very helpful. At many other smaller hostels there is not much space for luggage, but here there was a lot of space below the bed. The doors are noiseproof, which is also nice. Washing machine and dryer are very cheap and way faster than most other accommodations I've been to. It was very clean.
