The location is great - close to 2 very well connected subway stations with connected malls, plenty of other shops and restaurants are also very close. The provided manual and instructions were very clear and easy to follow with pictures on point. Very good wifi. The host (Kasuki) has left a welcome card on my mother language which was exceptionally sweet and thoughtful. Also came at the very beginning to greet us and make sure we understood everything and have settled well. Offered several times to help us with transport when he was near the building on rainy days and provided us with tips and advices for events that were happening during our stay. Exceptional and very appreciated care, thank you, Kasuki. Since it is Tokyo and everything is very close to each other, there were provided ear plugs for more sensitive to noise people - for us the noise was from the train was not a problem. My friend loved the opportunity to take long and relaxing baths in the japanese bath. Would definitely book again if I have a stay in Tokyo.

Yumi was particularly very helpful and has kept the property in a very spotless manner. The bathrooms although shared had all the amenities including premium toiletries. There's also a shared kitchen if you want to cook your own food and they have stocked limited (included) noodles, coffee and chocolates. The place is hardly 10 mins walk from Sakurajosui station and has direct connectivity to Shinjuku station. There's also a few eateries that stay open till late, plus few Gyudon restaurants that serve 24/7 with 7-eleven and Family Mart nearby. Overall an exceptional property if you want peace of mind and home-like stay.

The owner was really kind and welcoming.

Hanegi Park is 1.9 km from the guest house and Ikejiri Inari Shrine is 2.3 km away. The location was perfect, we love the Shimokitazawa area, food, shopping, culture-loved wandering the streets. The house is a perfect example of an older, nearly 100 year old property and we had everything we needed for a comfy, cozy stay. Amy is delightful, speaks English beautifully & is so welcoming & informative. There is a laundry with washer & dryer- lots of room.

Both the property and the owners were fantastic, and the overall experience was exceptional. It is rare to find accommodation like this in Ome that can be booked on a rolling basis - the little accommodation in the valley is normally set up for Japanese tourism i.e. one night stays. This place however was perfect. The room is very separate, below the main house and directly overlooking the river which provides a lovely soothing background sound. The room is comfortable and well lit, with a kotatsu heated table for colder weather. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and happy to prepare vegetarian meals for my friend, to fit our schedule. They even accepted card payment for the food!

Tanaka-san is the best host, hands down. Super helpful when we checked in, looking after our needs and helping us move around. I enjoyed my stay and my kids too.
