Amazing hostel, the kindest staff I've met. You can book the onsen for yourself. Nice breakfast and a decent menu for dinner. They even give you a kimono! Very traditional hostel.

This was my favorite homestay in Japan. It felt more like being the guest of a friend in his house. Jiro is an amazing person. He did everything he could to make me feel comfortable and taken care of. We had great conversations. He only takes a few guests at a time so you really get peace, quiet and space. He let me use his bike whenever I needed it. I could cook my meals in the kitchen. The gym in the living room was a big plus. I came here feeling exhausted from other hostels and the city. I was able to get great rest here and feel at peace. I will absolutely be back if I am in the area.

The communal seating area which allowed me to meet some fun people. I think this allowed a lot of guest to form friends for thier duration at the location.

He knows well of the city and recommends useful info.

The best part is the nearest station (Hidenochi station) is one train ride from/to Haneda Airport station, Yokohama Station, or Yokosuka Chuo station (Yokosuka US Base).

We will always be grateful for their hospitality and care during our stay at their guest house. The guest house had the perfect location, just a short walk from the beach and close to all the main attractions in Kamakura. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a traditional Japanese feel that added to the overall experience of staying in Kamakura. I can't wait to go back and stay at the same guest house again - it truly made our trip unforgettable.
