Located on Miyajima (Itsukushima), Miyajima Guest House Mikuniya offers a Japanese-style accommodation and a small garden. Free Wi-Fi is available. Miyajima Ferry Terminal is a 20-minute walk away. It was our second time staying here and we were pleased to be here the same as the first time. Definitely a good decision to have an overnight at Miyajima and support local family business. Everything felt very "home-like". Although the building is not new and onsen that they have is far from real onsen at other ryokan type hotels, to even have this option is very nice. Breakfast is very simple, but it is definitely enough. They even provide beer and ice cream for extra payment on the spot, you don't need to go all the way to Family mart. Location is very convenient for one night-stayers. They even prepare a curry for dinner. I cannot express the level of kindness of the owner and the cozy feeling during our stay. This is a true Japanese experience. Hopefully, the owner will accept our group next year as well :)

Best guesthouse I have ever had the pleasure to stay at. Very clean, nice facilities in a recently renovated house with exposed beams and all wooden flooring. Comfortable bed, privacy ensured. Incredibly nice owner. I would stay there again.

The atmosphere of this guest house is amazing! It really feels like being part of a family for a few days. Mako is the best guest house owner, she is always trying to make this place the most warm and welcoming place. I stayed 5 nights but I wish I would have stayed more! I recommend this guest house a lot!

Situated next to a rice field, 88 House Hiroshima is a non-smoking accommodation with free WiFi throughout the property. From JR Hiroshima Station, the property is a 25-minute bus ride away. The house is beautiful and very well equipped! Also the host was very kind and welcoming! We loved our stay there!

Premium Guest House Alaskan Dream is a recently renovated guest house in Akiota, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. Excellent location a short walk to the entrance of Sandan-Kyo. Wonderful, clean accommodation with great facilities. The host was excellent. Very helpful and accommodating throughout our whole stay. He went above and beyond to help us and make us feel welcome. I would definitely stay here again and recommend others to do so.

Situated just 1.7 km from Onomichi History Museum, Guest house mochilero onomichi features accommodation in Onomichi with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as bicycle parking. Best hostel staff ever! They didn't spoke english but our "hostelmama" made the stay unique for us!

4.1 km from Atomic Bomb Dome, Guest house Mitaki is a recently renovated property situated in Hiroshima and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Seldom leave reviews. But this is one of the prettiest and cleansest hostels i’ve ever stayed at. You will live a little outside the city, but very easy to get to center with only needing to go 1 stop on the train leaving quite often. About 40 min with train + tram to Museum and park. Very sweet lady running the place, and the hostel is absolutly stunning and incredibly clean. Free washer and dryer + good kitchen. Also great restaurant attached that opens about 17.
