It is up a slight winding hill and away from more tourist restaurants but close enough to walk to the Petra visitor entrance. Or Taxis are everywhere.

They knew a lot about petra and made it a lot easier for us to navigate when we were inside. I would 110% recommend choosing this as a resting place when visiting petra.

The staff was extremely helpful all the way through and so friendly. The dinner was the best we had during our whole trip, certainly worth it! Welcoming my travel buddies and I with warmth and full of tips to go anywhere without being scammed 😅 Very clean place, the entrance itself is very aesthetic even tho its an apartment. Bathroom is so clean.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I loved that the guest house is located in Um Sayhoun, city where beduins live so you could really experience the culture and way of life.

The rooms is really well presented with nice carpets and drapes, free snacks, tea and water, private bathroom ensuite. It's the room at the front of the hosts house, has a lock on the door don't worry, but this makes check in super easy late at night, e.g. after catching Petra by Night. Then you head down to Petra like 15min away the next morning and see it all. You will need your own car to get here, provided you have that anyway, it's the best value in town.
