This is one of these places you always look for, but are not always able to find. We liked the room which was spacious and clean. It was close enough to the entrance of Petra, and at night you have nice views of Wadi Musa because it is quite high up. What we liked most about the Petra Olive house was our host Sadam. We didn't plan to do a guided tour of Petra, but since Sadam offered to take us we agreed. We made a beautiful hike off the main route, had lovely views of Petra from above, barely saw any tourist there which is also a plus in petra. Besides this Sadam makes very good tea and is an excellent photographer. We really enjoyed this, thank you! All this for a very reasonable price (the room and the guided tour)!

I cannot be more grateful to Mohammad for the great stay I had at his place, which more than a hotel is like feeling at home, very clean, nice and cozy, good Wifi, surrounded by super friendly and helpful people. From the moment I booked, Moha's attention was 100%, he took me everywhere in his vehicle, guided me through incredible routes to Petra, he invited me to experience a Jordanian wedding celebration and we went to see the sunset from where only locals know and I had several very good dinners made by his mother, delightful! Vi havde 2 overnatninger hos Shadi og hans familie. Det var fremragende. Fra vores værelse havde vi en fantastisk udsigt over Wadi Musa. Vi fik morgenmad og aftensmad i huset, og det var rigtigt fint. Shadi kender Petra rigtigt godt og gav os mange gode råd til, hvordan vi fik mest ud af vores ophold. Shadi har 5 små børn, og de hyggede om os.

The dinner was the best we had during our whole trip, certainly worth it! There is also a great lounge area where you can chill and talk to other travelers

By the time we arrived on our first day, Ali's mom had already prepared dinner. Ali and his family welcomed us as if we were one of their own. They helped us carry our luggage to our room and gave us a tour of the building. Staying with Ali feels just like being at home, with all the comforts you could need. They introduced us to local cuisine for both dinner and breakfast, and even took us to a bar with an amazing view of the city. Ali not only provides a home and delicious food but also offers excellent travel tips for Petra that save you time and effort. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to see them again in the future.

They were very welcoming, when we arrived they immediately served us a huge and delicious dinner. The owner works in Petra so he could answer any questions we had and recommended a route for us to walk through it. Location is great near Petra, there is also plenty of secure parking at their property. We could have also had breakfast at any time with them but we left early for Petra. The wifi was excellent. The bathroom was very modern.

The place is really well located and is very nice and confortable. Also Shahin was very kind, we had a really nice talk and nade us feel confortable :)
