Featuring a restaurant and cafe on site, Blabjorg Resort is in the fishing village of Borgarfjordur Eystri, 71 km from Egilsstadir. We did not have time to use the spa. Breakfast choice was very good. The view out on to the harbour was really fantastic, smell of salty water and seaweed, just like home. Beautiful dining area. I met the owner of the property, who was really nice to speak with. The staff were great too. The northern lights were just so beautiful.

Finnstaðir has barbecue facilities and a garden. A hot tub is available for guests. Free WiFi is offered. All units at the guest house are equipped with a seating area and a TV. Everything was great. Clean, spacious and comfortable. The next day we had a fantastic horseback riding trip with Helga, who paid us a lot of attention. Thank you.

Set in a characteristic wooden house, Við Lónið Guesthouse is an accommodation in Seyðisfjörður. Clean, comfortable room with a beautiful and unique view of the fjord! The room was very cosy. We stayed here 3 days due to bad weather which prevented us from leaving (our booking was for one night only) and Maggy was lovely with us!!! Every day she came by to ask if we needed anything and provided us with coffee and chocolate. She kept us updated on the road situation and gave us advice on where to eat and what to do. I highly recommend everyone to stay are here!!! Thanks again Maggy!!!

I messaged the friendly host requesting an extra pillow and had it about 1 minute later! Altogether it was a great stay and I would definitely return anytime I am in Seydisfjordur.

First go to the hydro thermal station - Fljótsdalsstöð.. this place is very close from there

Fjalladýrð Guesthouse in Modrudalur features accommodation with a shared lounge. With a bar, the property also boasts on-site dining. The property provides mountain views and a children's playground. Fantastic room in a gorgeous location. The hotel had everything that you need for a short stay - great rooms, a communal kitchen and a lounge area, great beds, etc. The staff were very friendly and the location of the hotel was stunning! We even got to see some super cute arctic foxes! Go for it without any hesitation!
