Everything tbh - we were too tired after a hike to Studlagil. When we entered the property, met Elsa and checked in, I think the energy returned. The hot tub & sauna was a gift to my tired legs. Kitchen to room, everything was designed thoughtfully from a barn to a homestay and well equipped. Jfyi, the shower is common - but very big, spacious and clean. Hence it would not be an issue. If weather is nice and you are lucky, you may get to see some auroras too like us 😊

Loved the animals (chickens, pigs, ducks, sheep…) on the farm. Great horseback ride in the morning. I highly recommend calling before you arrive to arrange a horseback ride.

Set in a characteristic wooden house, Við Lónið Guesthouse is an accommodation in Seyðisfjörður. Clean, comfortable room with a beautiful and unique view of the fjord! The room was very cosy. We stayed here 3 days due to bad weather which prevented us from leaving (our booking was for one night only) and Maggy was lovely with us!!! Every day she came by to ask if we needed anything and provided us with coffee and chocolate. She kept us updated on the road situation and gave us advice on where to eat and what to do. I highly recommend everyone to stay are here!!! Thanks again Maggy!!!

The host was very friendly and prepared my room much earlier than general check-in time, which was very appreciated since the weather was terrible that day.
