I reserved gesthouse rooms with shared bathroom (because no other room left) and I had my doubts. But the reality exceeded my expectations. Small but cozy room, comfortable bad, linens, towels like in 5* hotel, bath rooms are like 5*hotel too. In addition, you have a shared kitchen. Instead, we tryed the hotel restaurant and enjoyed it very much. The spa is superb!!! Don't miss it! We had a discount for spa about 17%. Sea view was wonderful, like TV with wild sea life podcast just outside your windows. Lots of seabirds! Puffings lookout just 5 min drive away.

Dobili smo dvije prekrasne i velike sobe, opremljenu kuhinju, pripremljen aparat za kavu, pun frižider na raspologanju i dvije kupaone. Na etaži je još jedna jednokrevetna soba koja je bila popunjena, ali nam osoba nije smetala. Vrlo vrlo gostoljubiva gospođa koja nas je dočekala te nam pokazala koliko mogu biti topli ljudi u ovoj relativno hladnoj državi.

The guest house was very spacious, the jacuzzi was hot and ready when we arrived, the hosts were very friendly and allowed the kids to visit the horses in the stable. The property had toys for the kids, a highchair at the table for the baby to eat, and very comfortable home-like charm to it. One of our favorite stays during our Iceland holiday.

Set in a characteristic wooden house, Við Lónið Guesthouse is an accommodation in Seyðisfjörður. We got trapped in the town during a snow storm and we booked the place last minute. The host was as nice and helpful as it gets! She upgraded our room to the one with balcony, as some guests didn’t arrive due to the road closure and she let us stay longer while waiting for a passage through the mountains. The room was beautiful, big, clean and cozy! We loved the view and the bathroom. Even the soap in the bathroom was special, the details were just amazing. If all guesthouses would be on this level, the world would be a nicer place. We will come back!
