In a quiet corner of Clifden, this quiet haven of rich comfort and classic Irish hospitality is just 93 steps from the vibrant buzz of Clifden town centre. Location was close to restaurants and short drive to National Park. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was nicely put together with a private bathroom. The breakfast selection was excellent.

We wanted to say to Mary a big ‘Thank You’ for a very comfortable and pleasant stay we had at Country Haven. The breakfast was amazing as was the room itself. Mary seemed to have thought of everything a person may potentially need while traveling and staying overnight with you. My husband has been working in the tourist industry for over 25 years and he mentioned that any private host that does business on Booking or AirB&B should come there for an internship ;). We absolutely loved our stay in Athenry. The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much to ask. The pizzeria downstairs offers delicious food (not necessarily pizza) and we were seated in a separated nook for our breakfast, which was ideal for our big group. Beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. I’d recommend this property to anyone as Athenry is really worth a visit too.

We loved every part of our stay, and we can not wait to come back. Ursula was the perfect host and so welcoming and friendly. It was like a home away from home. The room was so cosy and clean. The bed was perfect. We brought our dog and she was so welcomed by all. She loved every bit of her stay also! she even made friends with little Billy! We can't wait to come back!
