Location was close to restaurants and short drive to National Park. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was nicely put together with a private bathroom. The breakfast selection was excellent.

We wanted to say to Mary a big ‘Thank You’ for a very comfortable and pleasant stay we had at Country Haven. The breakfast was amazing as was the room itself. Mary seemed to have thought of everything a person may potentially need while traveling and staying overnight with you. My husband has been working in the tourist industry for over 25 years and he mentioned that any private host that does business on Booking or AirB&B should come there for an internship ;). Thank you very much!

Bed & Breakfast - Shanakeever Farm is situated in Clifden, 17 km from Kylemore Abbey and 36 km from Maam Cross. Clifden is a fantastic place to stay to access the incredible drives in the region. Michael John is an exceptional host and made us feel right at home. Fantastic breakfast. Would definitely stay again on our next visit. Sad to leave which says it all!

The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much to ask. The pizzeria downstairs offers delicious food (not necessarily pizza) and we were seated in a separated nook for our breakfast, which was ideal for our big group. Beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. I’d recommend this property to anyone as Athenry is really worth a visit too.
