Mary seemed to have thought of everything a person may potentially need while traveling and staying overnight with you. My husband has been working in the tourist industry for over 25 years and he mentioned that any private host that does business on Booking or AirB&B should come there for an internship ;). A great stay with excellent quality amenities. The Host Ronnie was very kind and attentive with excellent suggestions for things to do and see both in Galway as well as the surrounding area. Great location in short walking distance from center of town. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious and Vinny was a wonderful host!

Offering city views, Lodge at The Old Barracks is an accommodation located in Athenry, 22 km from Galway Greyhound Stadium and 23 km from Eyre Square. A fitness room is available for guests. Very nice room, in a town that we really liked. Parking in the back makes it eay and the location is great to go out for a pint in one of the pubs or the nearby fast food places. The owner took personal attention to us getting our room, even arriving after hours.

Lakeside Loughrea is located in Loughrea. Among the various facilities are barbecue facilities and a garden. Free WiFi is available. All rooms have a private bathroom. So cozy and quiet, perfect location to explore Galway, Connemara, Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. Ursula was a welcoming and gracious host, the location is super walkable to pubs and coffee shops around the adorable historic town and right on the lake. Would definitely stay here again.

Located just 24 km from Birr Castle, Oak Lodge provides accommodation in Portumna with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as luggage storage space. Really cozy and clean room and bathroom, delicious breakfast and, among all, really welcoming and helpful hosts! 5+ stars would recommend for short or long stay!

Oranhill Lodge Guesthouse is a family-run bed & breakfast. This beautiful redbrick house is set in a well-manicured garden, just 5 minutes' walk to the village of Oranmore. Breakfasts were exceptional. The owners were extremely attentive & pleasant. The owner dropped us off in the local village to meet a day tour bus without us having to ask. Highly recommend this place.
