Felt absolutely at home. Snooze is definitely the gem of my trip to Jogja. The hostel staff team was super friendly and they were willing to share their insights with you as locals. I gained many travel suggestions which helped me make the most of Jogja. Every time I came back to the hostel in the evening or left in the morning I was greeted by my friends at Snooze and we usually had a pleasant conversation afterward. They are beyond happy to learn more about their guests and help their guests out. The breakfast was organic and healthy, I was served two meals every morning as I stayed in a double room. They offered a variety of options on each day of my stay and the quality of the food was just amazing. The hostel is located in a tranquil neighborhood but it is also not far from the robust areas of the city. It is only a few minutes away on foot from the Malioboro. You could get to most of the attractions in the city within 10 minutes by motorbike (e.g., Taman Sari and the Kraton), which the staff could help you arrange. The room and the shared bathroom have also been very clean and comfortable and the hygiene has been maintained at a pretty high standard. Snooze is also a place to meet with new friends. I find a lot of traveling people I knew in other cities again at Snooze. I would highly recommend this place for a days-long stay in Jogja and I believe people will come back to the city just because of Snooze.

Nextdoor Homestay is the perfect guesthouse for your Yogyakarta trip. The location is easy walking distance to so many points of interest and the decor of the guesthouse is adorable - special touches of plants and color everywhere. The breakfast was delicious and the most memorable part was the staff - Yuni and Lisa were so incredibly helpful in assisting us with booking all of our tours, transport, and recommending local restaurants. Thank you for a great stay!

The place is great, it has so much character, the owner and staff are amazing. Very accomodating, we enjoyed the really nice breakfast and great conversations with the owner. We'll definitely be back if we visit Yogyakarta again

Everything was perfect from the easy check in to the delicious breakfast. It was super clean and also very comfortable in a cozy local neighbourhood and on top of it, wow what a host! If I ever come back, this place is a must for me

Situated in a quiet neighbourhood that is a short walk to the Kraton, the Museum Sonobudoyo, evening dining and leisure options next to the Alun Alun Lor, famous Nasi Gudeg restaurants on Jalan Wijilan, as well as other eateries, a supermarket, and ridiculously good value laundries. To top it off, you'll have the amazing team of Frank, Tiyas, Anggit and Yudi look after you. 11 out of 10.
