The owner is extremely hospitable and friendly making it the best experience I’ve had in all of my travels. He’s very knowledgeable and taught me a lot about Sabah during my short stay. Will definitely come back.

AA Homestay er staðsett í Mulu og býður upp á gistirými með setusvæði. Heimagistingin býður upp á fjölskylduherbergi. Allar gistieiningarnar eru með skrifborð. Sérbaðherbergið er með baðkari. Perfect location, 5min walk from the park entrance and 10min walk from the airport. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Basic accommodation with plenty of room and free hot water for coffee and tea. Electricity as of August 2023 was on 24h

Seladah Stay er staðsett í innan við 10 km fjarlægð frá Borneo-ráðstefnumiðstöðinni í Kuching og í 15 km fjarlægð frá Sarawak-leikvanginum í Kuching og býður upp á gistirými með setusvæði. We had a wonderful stay at Seladah Homestay. The property consists of two combined houses, making it quite spacious with a total of eight rooms (two rooms downstairs and the rest upstairs). It features an RFID door lock system and an automatic gate with a remote, so there’s no need to use a traditional key. We arrived late at night, but self-check-in was convenient, allowing us to settle in without waiting for the owner. The homestay also offers high-speed Wi-Fi, estimated at around 500 Mbps. Since all guests live under the same roof, you’ll have the opportunity to meet your housemates. Our rooms, located upstairs, were designed for two people and came with private bathrooms, which was very convenient. The living room has TVs available for use, and a washing machine is beneath the staircase. The parking area accommodates about three cars inside the compound and two additional cars outside. The owner was also very responsive to my inquiries. Thank you very much for a great experience! I will definitely return for my next stay. :)

Merdeka Guest House 2 er gististaður í Kuching, 5,5 km frá Sarawak-leikvanginum og 10 km frá Borneo-ráðstefnumiðstöðinni í Kuching. Gististaðurinn er með garðútsýni. The host is just from another world. I arrived late (around 22h30) and even though he likes to wake up at 4h30, we kept talking for about half an hour. Then, he goes: "do you want me to show you around?" >> he went on giving me a guided kuching tour in his car. He even wanted to buy me a drink but no shops were open at midnight. Besides this, he would leave traditional sweets for breakfast every day. Legend!!

Mizu Homestay at KK Times Square by R2 er staðsett í innan við 1,8 km fjarlægð frá Filipino Market Sabah og 2 km frá Sabah State Museum & Heritage Village í Kota Kinabalu. The room is clean. Excellent value for money. The location of homestay is really convenient to Imago Mall. No worries about what to eat. There are many kinds of restaurants to choose from. If you have the right room, you can see a beautiful sunrise sky as well.

The Glam Inn er staðsett í Kampong Limputang, í innan við 18 km fjarlægð frá Filipino Market Sabah og 14 km frá North Borneo-járnbrautarstöðinni. I love the easy way as self checked in and out. Location is superb. Theres so many malls and easy to get foods. Room was so clean, hopefully they maintain it. The decoration is simple and smart. And the staff so concerned towards the guest's comfortability.

Mulu Tribal Homestay er staðsett í Mulu í Sarawak-héraðinu, 1,4 km frá Gunung Mulu-þjóðgarðinum og býður upp á garð. Heimagistingin býður upp á fjölskylduherbergi. Very friendly and heartwarming homestay. Highly recommended. The host family was very nice, the home made food was superb, and rooms clean. The house and the host family are building an atmosphere of home after the trips to the national park. The location is quite central in regards of the remote Mulu. 20 min on foot to the entrance of the national park and less than 2 min on foot to the airport (no, you do not hear planes at night, as there are no flights scheduled). Water, snacks and coffee is included. Meals are safe made and are offered for a fair price as well as cold refreshments. They have an own jetty, where you can be dropped of from the national park guides, when coming back from the tours. No "warm" showers (not necessary, as the outside temperature is mostly above 25 °C). Water is clean 😊
