Also the location was perfect, quiet but a very short walk to town centre, less than 10 mins. Perfect. Would definitely go back.

I felt sorry that we were in such a hurry that we could not spend more time admiring this exquisite house.

The owners, Mark and Kath, made us very welcome and were highly attentive, especially at breakfast. Coming back from an evening out, we found that the fireplace had been lit, so we settled down in its warm glow. Mark turned up while we were there and gave us permission to have a 'wee dram' from his collection of whiskies. A very pleasant way to end the day. Quite clearly, the owners go out of their way to make their guests feel at home and their efforts pay dividends.

A few minutes to drive from the center of Lochinver but it was not a problem. The staff was great and caring, everything was superb!
