She is gentle and polite, provided us with information about dining options in the city center which were very useful. The breakfast area is bright and warm, and the heating equipment for hot food is stylish and exquisite. I felt sorry that we were in such a hurry that we could not spend more time admiring this exquisite house.

Coming back from an evening out, we found that the fireplace had been lit, so we settled down in its warm glow. Mark turned up while we were there and gave us permission to have a 'wee dram' from his collection of whiskies. A very pleasant way to end the day. Quite clearly, the owners go out of their way to make their guests feel at home and their efforts pay dividends.
