Joel the host was extremely kind and helpful, it is just a single room in his house and we felt incredibly welcomed and comfortable. The free bikes were great to ride to the wall of tears and Joel also helped do our laundry. Location is excellent, close to a few great local restaurants and just a short walk from the beach and the ferry terminal.

I had a big room with a lot of space, huge windows and a balcony (first floor). further the room was really clean and room-service every day. it’s close to the centre and good location. Definitely a good place to stay, high value for the money.

He walked us through the town and pointed out some good places to eat and was able to organise all of our trips and bike hires, meaning we supported the local community whilst avoiding the high costs of using the tour companies. The accommodation is very comfortable with air conditioning. An excellent breakfast is offered every morning with a cooked component, fresh juice and fruit, and coffees/teas. Jackson was very supportive of our efforts to practice our Spanish, being very patient and talking slowly with us. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. He also went to the extra effort of decorating our room for our arrival as we'd mentioned we were on our honeymoon :) in all the places we have stayed in our travels throughout the years - this is the warmest welcome we have ever received.

The hotel staff were incredible and very helpful. They helped me plan my activities and organize tours for me, contacting the owners of the tour agencies themselves. My room was very pleasant, had great views of the beach, had great airflow, and was in a perfectly central part of town. The breakfast at the cafe downstairs was tasty and affordable for guests.
