Set in Las Terrenas, Villa Clarissa No. 8 offers beachfront accommodation 100 metres from Las Ballenas Beach and offers various facilities, such as an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and barbecue... Aleksandra and Sascha were incredibly welcoming. They gave advice for hiking and beaches to check out, and recommended restaurants. They also allowed us to use the kitchen to cook some fresh shrimp we bought from the local fisherman. The room was comfortable; air conditioning was not even needed because of the excellent fan. There was a comfortable common area for sitting in the evenings and eating meals. It was a short walk to the beach and restaurants. This was exactly what we were looking for -- a relaxed home away from home.

Well located in the centre of Santo Domingo, Tus Recuerdos offers a terrace, air conditioning, free WiFi and flat-screen TV. With city views, this accommodation provides a balcony. The location is great in the colonial centre with walking distance to everything. Rooms are big with AC, fan and hot water. Best value in town.

The property has pool and garden views.... Loved loved loved everything, very clean and beautiful, the owner took dedication and time to make this place as perfect as it is, will definitely be back.

Set in Rincon and only 500 metres from Sandy Beach, Red Flamboyan Guesthouse and Restaurant offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Everything was lovely. The food was amazing, so were the drinks in the restaurant right next to the guesthouse. High speed WiFi. The beach was close by. Large and spacious room. Very clean and tidy. Wonderful staff. Enough free parking spots.

Set in Mano Juan, Casa Mano Juan offers accommodation with seating area. Guests staying at this guest house have access to a patio. All rooms have a terrace with quiet street views. Everything was just perfect! On a scale of 1 to 10, 15 points do not honour Juan’s kindness. Not only an excellent host but a human being full of values who really makes you feel HOME!!! I’d definitely be back 100 times!!! Bonus: the lobster was simply delicious! The best one I’ve ever tried! And Marie takes care of you as if you were her son! Gorgeous experience!

El Conde De Atrini offers accommodation set 4.3 km from the centre of Santo Domingo and features a garden and a bar. The property features sea and lake views, and is 300 metres from Montesinos. The host was excellent. Even though we had the language barrier they tried everything to make our stay awesome

Offering a garden and quiet street view, casa maria is set in La Romana, 8.1 km from Teeth of the Dog and 12 km from Dye Fore. The apartment was super safe and comfortable. The hosts take care of you well, speak English, and help with all issues imaginable, from laundry, to airport transport, to breakfast and meals (even though officially not included in the price). The place is clean and nice, Wifi works well in the common area (not always in the room, but it did not bother too much). Grateful.

Complete with a shared lounge, Akunamatata Guest House Grand Case is situated in Grand Case, 200 metres from Grand Case Beach and 2.9 km from Anse Marcel Beach. It was clean, nice and quiet. The kitchen and outdoor space was very comfortable and it felt like home.
