We booked the Maloca, which is a wonderful tent, it's glamping in a friendly and relaxed environment. The tent reconnected us to the nature! But without leaving all the facilities like our own private bathroom! Delicious breakfast every morning making with love… Can you ask for anything else? Giorgio and his family are the best hosts we've ever had! And of course, close to the beach, restaurants and pretty places!

Nice, clean and comfortable apartment with all necessary amenities, with great location and access to an enormous rooftop area with a jacuzzi. David and his wife are incredible hosts, very attentive, reactive and friendly, gave a lot of useful tips and it was just a pleasure to have a conversation with them. You really feel like at home. And the price is very reasonable for what you get. Recommend without hesitation

The room was absolutely beautiful as was the property. Lots of thoughtful details, like a bug swatter lol. The bed was big and comfortable, and there was an automatic shade so you could make it dark in the room. The coffee maker was really nice. We had a problem with the hot water but that's because we turned the handle the wrong way, and nevertheless the manager came over on a sunday night to help fix it. The restaurant is closed on sunday (we didn't know this) so we didn't get to try it, but the following day after breakfast (which was delicious-- fruit was so sweet and perfect) we treated ourselves to some of the amazing cocktails and they did not disappoint.

The customer service and the cleanliness of the place was excellent. She even woke up early because she knew I had to leave early for a business meeting - so when I wake up the breakfast was already ready and it was so delicious - she made me feel like home. I will definitely return for business trip or tourism.

The room I had was one of 3 sharing a bathroom, kitchen and lounge room. My room and bed were extremely comfortable resulting in one of the better night's sleep on this trip. Within walking distance of the airport and the town. Added bonus, the beach is only a few hundred metres away. What added to a great stay was the host Jamal. Such a great and helpful guy who does everything right by his guests. I was on the move but would have loved to stay longer.

Pedro and Marian are just fantastic, they literally host you at their place and you become part of their family. Baoruco is the perfect place to have a real local experience. They have recommendations for all places around and offer tours if you like. They also offer to prepare European-style dinner with local products, which gives a change to the "bandera dominicana" if you have stayed around for a while.

Lovely villa, garden and pool was great. Kristoff very welcoming and helpful. Picked us up from airport and took us to the cruise terminal.
