Situated in Pingyao, 200 metres from Ming and Qing Street , Hongyuyuan Family Guesthouse boasts a restaurant and free WiFi. It is located in Ancient City of Pingyao, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With the free upgrade, I had a large room with two beautiful kang beds. The room was extremely clean. It was wonderful to have such an authentic experience, with traditional furniture and even a wooden door that locks with padlock and key. Both heating and aircon ensured my comfort, the water was hot and the guesthouse owner was very kind. It's also in a fantastic location.

Located in Pingyao Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Lao Cheng Gen Hostel is a 10-minute walk from Xianya, the former county government. Really typical location, I loved the vibes and the host was really a good man. Wish I could stay longer (not for the town per se, but for the accommodation)

Pingyao Jiaxin Guesthouse features rooms with traditional Chinese-style decoration. It is only a 4-minute walk from Pingyao Railway Station. Free WiFi is accessible in all areas. Everything was so excellent😊😊😊. The place is very convinient to the old city only by walking. It is also easy to get taxi and not far from the train stations. The host was very friendly and helpful. She tried to speak with me in both English abd Chinese so i can practise my Chinese.😊 Im happy to find such a good place for my trip.😊

Datong Yunzhong Traditional Courtyard is located in Datong Ancient Town, a 5-minute walk from Huayan temple and Nine Dragon Wall. It is a quadrangle courtyard Inn with traditional decoration. Location was the best, the hotel is renovated is extremely clean, you feel welcomed like home! Definitely recommend for visiting Datong. Staff speaks English and is very friendly and helpful!

Offering Chinese and Western food on site, Pingyao Harmony Hotel features well-decorated guestrooms and simple dormitory rooms for guests. Service was great. We were picked up at the parking lot with a shuttle bus. Dinner in the hotel was perfect and delicious. They even offered gluten free food! The owner family were very friendly and supported us in any situation. We strongly recommend this hotel as it is a pleasure to stay there. We surely will come back, when we are around this area again.

Just next to Xietongqing Unincorporated Bank Museum, Pingyao Baichanghong Hotel is a paper-cut-themed guest house located right in the heart of Pingyao County, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Beautiful accommodation at the centre of ancient city of Pingyao in the bustling South Street. The owner and staff are very friendly, warm and helpful. They picked us up from the station and brought us to Ancient City (cars are not allowed inside) and also brought us on the day of departure, both for very reasonable fees, because we were with 5, too many for a taxi. The hotel and rooms were in a traditional style, allowing for great pictures.The beds and cushions were very comfortable for us. The bathroom and toilet are combined in a small room, but it wasn't bothersome.The owner knows the nearby shops and good spots to go to, definitely ask for tips. We enjoyed our 2 nights and 3 days in Pingyao a lot, definitely recommended.

Housed in a 400-year-old courtyard built in Qing Dynasty, Pingyao Jintaisheng Hotel used to be the only flour factory in Pingyao Ancient City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, at the end of Qing Dynasty.... The room is very spacious and comfortable. Nice historic property. Hotel staff are very friendly and some speak English.
