Stayed there only for 1 night on April, but was charmed by the vibe and authenticity. Room has all necessary stuff for staying, it’s cozy, with traditional details in interior. Also you can participate in master classes: cook dumplings or make traditional lucky sache). Owners made it perfect for guests to have the whole cultural experience. Great Wall is close, and the views are amazing. If you go by yourself on subway, it’s a bit hard to get. Better prepare in advance. On taxi it took 1,5 hour. But the location is worth it.

The room was large and very well furnished. We were amazed by the cleanliness. The beds were large and extremely comfortable. Anyways my stay at this Cheng Yuan was enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing accommodation experience nearby the Great Wall. The coffee is good by the way.

Girl at the reception was super cute, very funny and helpful. The hotel has no any sign so you just follow the main image. Also it’s a pretty coffee shop rich you have to go through to reach your room.

A great place to stay to visit the great wall and experience a peaceful Chinese village. The entrance to the great wall is just a short walk. This section of the great wall is so quiet that we have the whole place to ourselves. It is also not very restored so you get to see some of the original wall. They also cooked fresh food from their garden for us. I have been to Beijing twice and did all the major tourist spots. I have to say staying here and hiking the wall in peace is my best Beijing experience.

During my second visit, the service quality remained impressively high. The staff, incredibly friendly, accommodated our group of 5 in a dorm designed for 4, adding a comfortable extra mattress. The cozy atmosphere, from comfy sofas to heated Japanese toilet seats, makes it feel like home. Plus, the food is incredibly delicious. I just love this place and will definitely come back in the future!

Excellent hospitality by the receptionist. Beautiful location. Panoramic view of the Great Wall, and only 5 min walk to the entrance of the Great Wall.

Happy Pang Song Home is set in Miyun, 33 km from Bangchui Mountain and 34 km from Qinglianggu Hill. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Rooms come with a TV. You will find a kettle in the room. Beautiful area, easy to get to from station (walk down the wooden stairs) Host is absolutely amazing and speaks good English ! Definitely would recommend this place

Located in Houhai Scenic Zone, Beijing Houhai Courtyard Inn used to be a traditional courtyard with a history of 100 years. Very aesthetic Chinese place. I loved the birds there and the owner has a good skills of English
