Casa Esperanza is located a 5-minute tram ride from the centre of Basel and offers free WiFi and a shared terrace with seating area. The rooms all come with a flat-screen TV. Overall, we had a great experience here! The host, Kai, was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The room was very spacious for two people, and it was nice to have the little kitchen! The washroom was shared with only one other room, which made it feel like a semi-private washroom. All facilities were super clean! Great location, and it was very helpful that the booking came with a Basel pass, including free transit and half-off at many museums! Would highly recommend staying here :)

This place is big and comfy. Amita is a kind host, with a very polite and lovely decorated house. You really feel comfortable here. The neighbourhood is quiet and it is reasonable near Basel SBB which has train connections to other cities in Switzerland. A very nice experience!

Very friendly and helpful host! I did not have a chance to have breakfast, as I needed to leave early. I like the area, and also super comfortable - near the SBB!
