He provided Basel Card which can be used for public transports and some discounts might be reached via this card which I found something extraordinary and superb (seems like every city accommodation provide in Switzerland).
Now about accommodation. Amazing place to stay, highly recommended. Clean, neat, comfy, warm. You can find literally everything you need. If you need something and you can’t find it then hosts can provide it, they are available via WhatsApp or call.
Overall, the best experience and the best hosts, and really good place to stay in Basel.

Great Hostel/Hotel
Great hostel with very friendly and helpful staff! As a cyclist I was really happy with the bike storage. The hostel is big, but does not feel crowded, and the dorms are quite and spotlessly clean. There are all kinds of facilities: A large kitchen, study room, bar, laundry room. Walking distance to the train station.
Great host, great flat, short walk to the expo and conference centre. Fast wifi.
The B&B situate in very nice area,Easy access to bus and tram to get around the town, great host and very helpful.

Great host. Explained what all there is to see in the city. She marked on the map and recommended the biggest sights. Breakfast excellent. Accommodation is wonderful.
Ladina and Michelle were super helpful and provided lots of useful into. The pillows were very comfy and it was nice to stay in a more traditional property with a nice terrace. Loved the high ceilings and wooden floors, and having the coffee machine was also great. A very comfortable apartment with great hosts.
