Set on 25 acres, in the heart of wine country, Red Door Collective - RDC Vineyard Estate, Luxury Adult Only Stay enjoys breathtaking views of the Brokenback Ranges and is home to one of the smallest... What an amazing property! If I could give more than 10 stars, I would. We stayed in the Cabernet cottage/suite which was this cute apartment. We saw Kangaroos on the property, and it was so quiet and peaceful amongst the vineyards. The bed was so comfortable with high quality bedding. The full hot breakfast was excellent, and we really enjoyed visiting with the hosts. I would highly recommend RDC for your stay in the Hunter Valley!

Situated in Wollombi, in a historic building, 40 km from Hunter Valley Gardens, Capers Cottage and Barn Accommodation is a guest house with a garden and terrace. The historic village of Wollombi was very scenic, we didn't have time to explore it as we were there for our daughter's wedding at a nearby retreat. We were warmly greeted by our host Jane, who took us on a tour of the main house which was a magnificent example of an early colonial mansion, very historic in origin. The Capers Guesthouse had a choice of three separate buildings for a stay, we had the Barn which was a real highlight as it was literally a slab barn with beautiful interior, so rustic but comfortable. The furniture inside was a collection of antiques which reflected the heritage atmosphere of the Barn and town. All modern facilities for cooking, the supplied breakfast had a choice of cereals or full cooked breakfast. The ingredients supplied were the best quality, tomatoes, huge mushrooms, eggs and the best sausages and bacon I've tasted in a long time. The bed was a huge king size, very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and supplied by fresh rainwater from tanks. We want to try the other buildings for a stay in the future and have the pleasure of a historic building stay.
