Friendly welcome by Kerrie, who rang us that our room was ready earlier than first advised and then showed us around and explained the facilities. Good size beautiful room, nice and cool when we arrived as the "heath was on" on that day, comfortable bed, excellent shared area, coffee machine/tea making facilities with plenty of choice. Port and chocolates available in the sitting room, which is beautiful and comfortable. Water and nibbles in the room. Cooked breakfast on the terrace, served by two lovely young ladies. Everything was perfect.

Das Red Door Collective - RDC Vineyard Estate liegt auf einem 2 Hektar großen Grundstück im Herzen des Weinanbaugebiets und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Brokenback Ranges und beheimatet... What an amazing property! If I could give more than 10 stars, I would. We stayed in the Cabernet cottage/suite which was this cute apartment. We saw Kangaroos on the property, and it was so quiet and peaceful amongst the vineyards. The bed was so comfortable with high quality bedding. The full hot breakfast was excellent, and we really enjoyed visiting with the hosts. I would highly recommend RDC for your stay in the Hunter Valley!

The historic village of Wollombi was very scenic, we didn't have time to explore it as we were there for our daughter's wedding at a nearby retreat. We were warmly greeted by our host Jane, who took us on a tour of the main house which was a magnificent example of an early colonial mansion, very historic in origin. The Capers Guesthouse had a choice of three separate buildings for a stay, we had the Barn which was a real highlight as it was literally a slab barn with beautiful interior, so rustic but comfortable. The furniture inside was a collection of antiques which reflected the heritage atmosphere of the Barn and town. All modern facilities for cooking, the supplied breakfast had a choice of cereals or full cooked breakfast. The ingredients supplied were the best quality, tomatoes, huge mushrooms, eggs and the best sausages and bacon I've tasted in a long time. The bed was a huge king size, very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and supplied by fresh rainwater from tanks. We want to try the other buildings for a stay in the future and have the pleasure of a historic building stay.

Das McCaffrey's Estate liegt auf einem familiengeführten Weingut in Pokolbin und bietet eine herrliche Aussicht auf das Hunter Valley. Quiet , serene location. With a country vibe. Walking the vines , early morning was a nice way to start the day. Time in a salt pool at midday was a welcome retreat from the Hunter warmth.

Das Tranquil Vale Vineyard verspricht einen erholsamen Aufenthalt in gemütlichen, frei stehenden Cottages. The apartment was lovely, comfortable and big. I loved the breakfast with the homemade sourdough bread (!) and all the fruits. We enjoyed the wine tasting as well as the nature, pool and tennis court. I wish Australia wasn't that far and we would be able to come back. :)
