Situated in between the historic district and the downtown area, this is a charming guesthouse. It is clean and comfortable, has a lovely courtyard, and good breakfast (for small extra fee). It is in a wonderful and easily accessible location. Very kind staff. This is a newer place, and it is very comfortable. Easy parking along city roads for free. A wonderful place!

Boasting a garden and views of city, Doda Guest House is a recently renovated guest house situated in Gjirokastër, 45 km from Zaravina lake. We stayed for one night in the king room. It was magical! Such craftsmanship in the stone work and the finishing carpentry. Bed and linens were comfortable and warm. We were served a delicious home cooked meal in the morning. Hosts were very friendly and attentive.

Situated in Memaliaj in the Gjirokastër County region, Vjosa Guest House features accommodation with free private parking. This guest house has a garden. One of the most special stops on our trip. This feels like a retreat and home stay all in one. The hosts are warm beyond words and cook up a fantastic Albanian dinner made up from veggies and fruit directly from their garden. The rooms were clean and cute.
