I highly recommend staying here if you have booked a tour or joining a tour if you are staying.

Boasting a garden and views of city, Doda Guest House is a recently renovated guest house situated in Gjirokastër, 45 km from Zaravina lake. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. My family and I loved staying here. We had the family room and there was plenty of space for us (4 adults). The room was clean, authentic and beautifully decorated. The family owning the guest house was so welcoming and the hospitality was the best we’ve ever experienced. It truly felt like we were visiting family. We booked our stay without breakfast included, but it was no issue adding the breakfast when we were there. The location was perfect as well. The castle and the town was just a short walk away. We stayed in 12 different hotels over the summer in Italy, Albania, Sweden and Slovenia, and this was by far the best stay of the summer and of my life. I wanna go back to Gjirokastër and I’ll definitely book a stay at this guest house again.
