I have visited Zanzibar before and stayed at a few hotels (large and small) and this is by far my favorite hotel, my kids and I did not want to leave. It was a hidden gem! The staff were very friendly, the owners were always available and very sweet and kind, the food was the best in Zanzibar. It’s a very quiet and lovely getaway. The beach felt like a private beach away from the overbearing Masai and tourists. The hotel was very cozy, authentic and unique. The rooms were spacious, the balcony was stunning and watching the sunrise every day was beautiful, AC was working perfectly, rooms was always clean and they clean twice a day. If you want to relax.. this is the place to stay! The owners and staff quickly became our family. Thank you for the most beautiful stay, we will be back again! The beautiful place is located in a perfect location - very close to Royal Beach, Masai market and the main road in which you can find shops for everything you need.
The host is just an amazing person, a great, warm, and welcoming host. When we arrived, she welcomed us with a post card and flower decorations to celebrate our honeymoon, and also gave us a generous plate of delicious fruits. She took care of every need that we had, on a daily basis. Laundry, kitchen, local recommendations and transfer, places to travel and to buy things like alcohol, SIM card, even Barbershop. They even go to a distant shop to buy a new fan, in addition to the one in the ceiling, because we came in unusually hot weather and I'm very sensitive about hit.
Housekeeping, every day, with colorful flowers and cleaning, which was very nice.
The rooms are in the middle of a big, colorful and beautiful garden, which also has some nice spots to sit and relax.
The whole place is very quiet and safe.
No doubt we will come again.

Nothing was too much trouble. The owners and staff would respond to any request immediately- we felt like we had found our little piece of paradise. The location was fantastic - loved watching the fisherman come in with their catch and the locals living their lives. Breakfast was amazing. The chef prepared whatever you wanted off the comprehensive menu. The poached eggs and pancakes were our favourite.
We really enjoyed our stay at sunny villa!! Shamir it’s a great host and provides any kind of services you’ll need. It’s a cozy place, only 6 rooms with a really nice swimming pool. Although it’s not directly on the sea, the beautiful beach it’s only 1 minute walk. The staff it’s super friendly, food it’s fresh and really good. Enjoy ypur stay!!!
Small Place with just 4 Rooms for rent. Felt almost like a homestay. Super friendly and flexible host who can also organize pick up from pier or airport.
It was immaculately clean everybody was very pleasant Food was average Pool very nice right on the beach Locals friendly and despite being persistently approach on the beach there was never any unpleasantness Liked the local boats bringing there fish in from the sea. Well worth taking trip to see dolphins and sand bar by Natty who has a dive boat hire right next door to hotel
We had the most amazing stay here. A very special thank you to the wonderful staff who were so welcoming and helpful. The food is incredible and we ate way more often in the resort than we had originally planned. The houses are beautiful with direct beach access and the Indian Ocean is warm and great for swimming. The live music was a welcoming change and a great way to connect with locals. Overall, we cannot recommend this accommodation more than enough.
