Lovely place, the view and location really do make it what it is. Breakfast was delicious. Simple room but everything that you need is available.
Not at all an issue for me, but be advised that with large luggage this is not the easiest location to reach (the great view requires climbing a lot of stairs).

The room was beautiful and the view was amazing. We arrived around 8 pm, and the manager/owner stayed late to let us into the rooms and to give us a tour of the breakfast area. It was a little hard to find the hotel, but that may have been because the taxi driver did not let us off at the correct place. Even though we arrived late, we were able to walk around Jiufen when it wasn't crowded.

Super spacious room and massive beds! Feels pretty local, but in a good way. Location is good and while we had a car rental, it's accessible by train and bus to other nearby towns/cities. We had fun sitting on the porches enjoying the sea views, kid enjoyed it too.

This property is a member of Taiwan host which is a big thumbs up. They spoke great English, there are 4 rooms at this property and a parking spot. Two rooms have a view of the beach, the other two have no view. Netflix is provided in the room which was clean and comfortable. There is a restaurant on site but dinner finishes early and closes at 745pm. Breakfast was provided on a set menu.

My family loved our time there! We went there for 5 people and staying in 2 rooms. It was a great little place and really clean in a perfect location. Lin is very kind and responsive. She even helped us talked to our driver who is not familiar with the area and couldn’t speak English. We really appreciate all her help and feel so lucky to meet her. We would definitely recommend this place and try to book again in future visits.

Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
The staff at this homestay were wonderful! They picked us up from the train station which while close was an excellent bonus as it was pouring rain. The breakfast was good and we were sent home with mini lanterns as a souvenir. The room (family room) was extremely spacious and while the beds were a bit hard it was perfect for what we needed!
