The property was so much nicer than expected from the photos online, we had no idea there was a tennis court and an orchard that we were allowed to gather fruit from. Vera, spoke multiple languages and we were able to communicate just fine with Google Translate. The breakfast she makes everything from scratch including cakes, jams and preserves. It was an amazing stay and we wished we could have stayed longer than we did.

We arrived soaked after a long motorcycle ride. The staff let us leave out clothes in a warm place to dry overnight as there was no space in the cabin. The cabin was very well insulated and warm - we had to switch the heater off !
Food was nice - especially considering we were the lasts guests of the season.

Perfect location. Great host. It was exceptionally clean. My room was spotless and quiet. It is 9 minutes walk to the castle and 10 minutes to the town of Bragança. WiFi was free and excellent. There is an immaculate kitchen to prepare and cook food. Parking is quite difficult but I managed to find free parking near the castle. I shall definitely stay here again next January on my way to Porto from Santander.
Rustic casa in quiet, country location. A great place to stay away from the busy city and so well equipped. Our lovely hostess left us eggs, homemade marmalade and fresh vegetables and was friendly and smiling.
