This is one of the most beautiful places we stayed at in all our travels in Europe.
The room was stunning, with the beautiful ceiling and decoration that matched the 1600 feel of the house.
The staff, starting with Manuela, went out of their way to make our stay exceptional.
The location of the house, literally steps from the castle and everything, was wonderful.
Breakfast was not your regular hotel breakfast.. it was elegant, plentiful, delicious, and of home made quality at an unbelievable price. It was actually not simply a meal, but part of the whole experience. Coffee and Tea were available for guest at any time.
The place has character, charm, and beauty in every corner. They even had a beautiful Chapel in which we enjoyed some quite time in the morning.
This is one of the places that we will always wish to come back to.

This is a great accommodation. It is very clean, shower is good, wifi is quite good. I think it's nicer than the pictures. The share kitchen is very handy and well stocked with pots, dishes etc. There is even coffee pods provided which is very nice. Parking is good, in front of the building. Location is good, just a 10 min drive to downtown or the castle. The owners are very kind.

I was travelling by motorcycle and had the use of the garage which was great.

Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
A pleasant stay with helpful staff and an owner who is a great host. Well maintained property and facilities.
We arrived soaked after a long motorcycle ride. The staff let us leave out clothes in a warm place to dry overnight as there was no space in the cabin. The cabin was very well insulated and warm - we had to switch the heater off !
Food was nice - especially considering we were the lasts guests of the season.

Perfect location. Great host. It was exceptionally clean. My room was spotless and quiet. It is 9 minutes walk to the castle and 10 minutes to the town of Bragança. WiFi was free and excellent. There is an immaculate kitchen to prepare and cook food. Parking is quite difficult but I managed to find free parking near the castle. I shall definitely stay here again next January on my way to Porto from Santander.
Rustic casa in quiet, country location. A great place to stay away from the busy city and so well equipped. Our lovely hostess left us eggs, homemade marmalade and fresh vegetables and was friendly and smiling.
