👩 Dary, the host! She was amazing :) She helped us with everything we needed: Scooter rental, kayak tour, laundry, transport, recommendations of places to visit, etc. She was also open to share her personal history with us which gave us a deeper insight into real life in Cambodia.
🛏 The room was great. It was big, clean, had natural light. The bathroom was spacious and clean and even had a shower separation.
❄️ The AC! This was the best AC we have had throughout our 4 months in Southeast Asia. The air didn't feel too dry and set to the right temperature, it was neither too cold nor too warm. This is something very rare for us.

Lovely homestay in Kratie. Great location, great food and friendly staff. The rooms are big and clean, and the most comfortable bed I have found while travelling!
Fantastic host family (extended) who had at least 5 children. Very welcoming and helpful with our 2 year old who has a wonderful time playing with all her surrogate siblings :-).
