I enjoyed going on a tour around some of the nearby towns and villages. The homestay is right next to the local market so, while it might be an early start each day, it's great to get up and wander down the little market street. Also, had the most delicious khmer curry cooked by the host (and myself helping out!).
Lovely family Homestay. The property was clean, comfortable and a great location with a local market right on the doorstep. The hosts cooked a delicious meal (some of if not the best food we’ve had in Cambodia) each night for more than affordable prices. It was nice to sit and eat with the family and other travellers. Our hosts offered help with organising transfers and also offer a local tour which was a really fun day. 10/10 recommend staying here for a local experience. Excellent value.
The host family is super welcoming. The local tour is exceptional value.
The owner was friendly and helpfull with everything. The best thing was the local tour. I enjoyed and learned new things on this day. I would highly recommend this homestay and go there again.
Very welcoming family, homestay at its best. Dinner was great and the morning market perfect to buy breakfast or some snacks for the day. The village tour along the Mekong was amazing, you really get to see how people live and work. Highly recommend!
- Good WiFi was in my room. Booking.com says there is no WiFi at this hotel. - Quiet air conditioning - Comfortable double bed 2 m long - Friendly - Helpful - They gave me an old bike for free for 2 days. - Restaurant with lots of locals But I didn't eat there. - Close to the river - The hotel had booked the dolphin tour and the minivan to the next town for me. The minivan picked me up at the hotel.
Sok is an amazing cook, a superb tuktuk driver, a very welcoming host and an extremly warm and helpful person. He offers a true homestay experience. Be sure to try his cooking! He managed to help me and invite me to his house when he was already overbooked. He also helped me with an emergency and seeking help for a sick cat that I have found.
It's a great and super authentic homestay. The owner and his family are lovely. He stayed up all night for us because we arrived with a nightbus. We did a very nice tour with him through the countryside and villages and he also took as to the dolphin spotting point (11$ per Person). It was a great experience and showed you authentic cambodian life. Also there is a nice local market right next to it.
The host family were fantastic and very helpful. The host picked me up for free several times in his tuktuk.
Amazing hospitality.... Really authentic homestay right next to small market and the river. The locals also love to use their restaurant in the morning for their breakfast and the food is great. The owner also speaks great English and can help arrange tours and busses for travelling onwards. All round can't recommend any more highly
