The hotel has everything that you could need (even coins laundry), and the staff all the time try to help in all that was possible.
During our stay all ferries were canceled due bad sea conditions, and the hotel staff help us with a half price stay while we could leave the island.

The staff working here were extremely helpful, they even sent me a shirt I had forgotten there. There is a common room (with a yoga mat!) and good cooking space, which can not be taken for granted when staying in hostels around Asia.

The place is a little bit secluded from the main town but still reachable by a 20-30min walking. A bus stop is 30s far from the house (but not many buses per day). Takako San is a nice host and a great cooker so eating there is highly recommended.
I had to leave a day before and the main host (I didn’t met during my stay) with whom I discussed by messages was very accommodating and nice.

This house has charm! The host is lovely, attentive and cooks great. The house is easy to reach by bus from the port, or in case you want is just a 30 minutes walk from there. The room was nice, had air conditioning and the beds were comfy. Also, I liked that you could rent material to do some snorkeling and take some amenities. We also enjoyed Kiki's company.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Fantastic place, hosts are so wonderful, we got caught by massive storm while being at Furuzamami and had to leave bikes from Yenn's Marina there due to heavy conditions, as were offered a ride by car by some locals, hosts pick the bikes later by themselves. Tastefull breakfast and just two houses away from very good restaurant, rooms are very clean and spacious.
Thank you for your hospitality.
Great location. Lovely host who provided lots of information about the island and what to do. The property offered snorkels and bikes for a great price. Very clean.
Really nice place, 50m away from Ama Beach. The owner used to be a chef in Tokyo and the food he serves in the restaurant is amazing - same goes for the included breakfast! The rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped and you can rent snorkeling gear for 1000 Yen/day. Also, the transport to/from the ferry was very smooth thanks to the two lovely hosts who picked us up and brought us back by car.
