Charming room and garden. Hosts were delightful! The main host did not speak English so she asked her husband to interpret & he did a fabulous job. They were so accommodating! Drove us to a little local restaurant after our late arrival, as they had no extra food for us (I had requested beforehand but host didn’t understand my request).
We were served breakfast in the garden in the morning, absolutely lovely. Both hosts were warm and courteous.

A charming B&B, well located close to St Catherine tram stop and 10 minutes walk from the centre for the Tourist Office and Grand-Theatre. Many restaurants, cafes and bars close by, as well as a major shopping street, but double glazing ensured that the room was quiet. Our 'Rosa Bonheur' room on the first floor (no lift, but our luggage was carried up for us) was spacious and comfortable, decorated in pinks and greens, with a small balcony, books to look through, two luggage racks and a comfortable bed with a duvet (we needed the air conditioning a couple of nights). The bathroom was also spacious, with a large walk-in shower, two basins, a heated towel rail and plenty of hanging space and shelves for clothes. There was a breakfast menu in the room - the delicious breakfast could be served downstairs in the kitchen area (which also had a communal fridge and a coffee machine), in your room, or upstairs - weather permitting - on the third floor terrace. Breakfast service started at 8 am on weekdays because the local boulangerie opened at 7.30 am, or 9 am at weekends, but on a day we were leaving early we were given a bag of croissants/chocolatines to eat on the train. Lots of nice touches - a little bag of canales to have with coffee or tea in the room, postcards mailed if needed, plenty of power points including by the bed, umbrellas, beach towels, etc. Bordeaux is easy to get around either by walking or by purchasing a public transport ticket and using the trams and river ferries.

The owner was fantastic as he really made the stay great. Room nice and bed great. No complaints at all.
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
What a great place to stay with a lovely host and convenient for the tram into Bordeaux.
Our room was perfect, we had fabulous freshly cooked breakfasts and excellent advice about what to see and restaurants to try.
Very Good Airport Hotel - Nice Room - Spotlessly Clean - Quiet - Easy Access to Airport (it took about 15 mins to walk on pavement - there is a tram stop meters away from the hotel but we were too early to use it in the morning as had 4.30am check in) - Great Hosts - very welcoming and helpful.
