I had a wonderful time! Aleks is so very welcoming, the place itself is very well maintained and has a proper kitchen. It's situated 5 minutes from the Samokov bus station and also close to quite a few supermarkets and ATMs.
I would recommend it to others and would also return myself!

Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Lovely host, made arriving and getting the keys a very simple process. Always available over WhatsApp to give recommendationa or answer any questions. Room was perfect size with a very comfortable bed, fast wifi and good water pressure in the shower.

Kalin is a great host, and great person. Everything was perfect, and I only have kind words about him. Apartment was very clean, and it had everything that we need. Location is also great, there are markets and ski rental services on 50m from the apartment, and ski lift is around 200m.
Exceptional facilities, everything was brand new and very clean. Light and warm apartment.
Lovely host, provided clear instructions to collect the key as well as contacts of a ski rental/school where we were given a discount.
The slopes were only a very short walk away, don't let Google Maps confuse you if you're new to the area like us - everything was much closer than we expected!
