This family-owned, eastern Iceland property is located on Route 95, about 17 km from the town of Egilsstadir. It offers cottage and guest room accommodation with views of Sandfell Mountain. We booked the private bungalows with shower and toilet. Really friendly staff and very peaceful and quiet location. If you like hiking this is a good place to stay for sure, a lot of nice places to hike close by. This was probably the best stay of our whole trip, wish we could have stayed another night and done some more hiking!
