Offering a barbecue and sun terrace, Sigiriya Water Cottage is set in Sigiriya, 3.4 km from Sigiriya Rock. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Really great hotel with clean and spacious bungalows and a lovely garden with all sorts of fascinating friendly animal visitors (monkeys, monitor lizards, peacocks, etc) and also a great pool to chill out. The bungalows are very clean and equipeed with AC and good shower and have a nice view of the garden. And also they are not to cramped together, the area is very spacious. We also enjoyed the homemade breakfast a lot. Closeby is also a very nice restaurant open until late with delicious food. We can definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in sigiriya!

The location was amazing. Slightly away from all the resorts, perfectly placed to have a view of Sigirya Lion Rocks from the window. Plus the host cooks amazing food!

It was built in a totally different concept than other accommodations I stayed. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Has all the facilities tv,wifi kitchen and etc. I mostly like the concept and beautiful environment it was build on. And uncle and aunty who look after the place are really nice and i have great respect for their superb hospitality. They treated us like family unlike guests.

At first we didn’t really know what to expect since there weren’t many reviews on booking, but we were really enthusiastic about this place. The location is stunning, it’s in the middle of nature. I also really liked the people that were hosting. The food was amazing and they made a bonfire at dinner. The woman also took us on a really cool hike through the rice fields. It was an amazing experience all together.
