Pearl and Ranjan were excellent hosts nothing was too much trouble. They organised a tuk driver for me and Ranjan even came to the train station on my departure. The room was perfect and the bed very comfortable. I would happily recommend this homestay - a perfect retreat.

The cottage was stunning with loads of space, aircon and plenty of hot water. The pool was incredibly clean and refreshing to swim in (almost heated from daytime sun), hosts were great at welcoming us and the most pleasant of people. Breakfast was amazing and plentiful. Different each morning. Hosts organised reasonably priced tuk tuks to polonnaruwa and onward travel to Kandy. We were also able to borrow the bikes to cycle to sigiriya rock. We went to dambulla en route from Colombo to sigiriya. Really enjoyed the stay. Would highly recommend!!!!!!

The place is very piece calm and quiet, surrounded by the beautiful nature. Perfect for relaxing after very intensive days. The homemade food was delicious, and our host was giving us amazing and honest tips and advices whenever we asked. He also arranged the trip to Polonnaruwa with his Jeep for us, which was a great trip. He also took us to another places in the area, and the prices were very reasonable. He arranged the laundry service for us as well. You can tell that he’s doing everything for the guests to feel comfortable!

Helpful, he beckoned us to a guide, with whom we took an exciting tour in the Knuckles forest. I can recommend!
