We liked the position outside the busy centre, inside this calm villa. The hosts have been really nice to us, like parents, welcoming us and providing us with with breakfast and drinks. They also gave us useful tips to.move around. Totally recommended!

Harini Villa is the nicest, family run, hotel that we've stay at in Sri Lanka. It's spotlessly clean and very, very well maintained both inside and out. The room is very well appointed and freshily decorated with not the slightest bit of mold or mildew. The bed is very comfortable with nice soft pillows, the air conditioning is good and the shower works well with plenty of hot water and the shower area is large enough not to wet the whole bathroom. The inclusive breakfast is a delight, taken sitting at your own table on the shaded terrace outside your room overlooking the neat and tidy garden. A full Sri Lankan breakfast is served with hardboiled egg, string hoppers, lentil curry, coconut sambol, a selection of fruit, a small bottle of still water and coffee or tea. To make a change our second breakfast consisted of pancakes, omelets, bread and butter, coconut oat cakes with banana slices, fruit etc. The owner of the hotel and his family are very pleasant and extremely helpful and looked after us well.

Comprising a garden and barbecue facilities, Hotel Hideaway Garage is a recently renovated accommodation in Dambulla located close to Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium. We really enjoyed our stay! The property is very good value for money, the owner is very friendly and kind, he took us to Pidurangala Rock and Polonnaruwa and charged very economical prices. We also ate dinner and breakfast, both traditional and very delicious. The hotel is nice, hippy style, we had a nice sleep, the amenities all work, is no luxury but is all clean. We felt very welcomed and would definetly go back if we were to stay again in Dambulla.

Offering a garden and garden view, Lion Wood Treehouse is situated in Talkote, 3.3 km from Pidurangala Rock and 3.7 km from Sigiriya Rock. The location was amazing. Slightly away from all the resorts, perfectly placed to have a view of Sigirya Lion Rocks from the window. Plus the host cooks amazing food!

Set in Matale and only 44 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall, Heavens Acres Lodge offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. It's a superb place. Really calming and beautiful environment. It was built in a totally different concept than other accommodations I stayed. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Has all the facilities tv,wifi kitchen and etc. I mostly like the concept and beautiful environment it was build on. And uncle and aunty who look after the place are really nice and i have great respect for their superb hospitality. They treated us like family unlike guests.

Offering a garden and garden view, Holly Flowers Villa is set in Sigiriya, 4.4 km from Sigiriya Rock and 7.5 km from Pidurangala Rock. Just wow! Amazing Homestay with the nicest family. The location for us was perfect to discover Sigiriya and the surrounding as we had a scooter for rent. The host took care of every wish we had (organising a safari, renting a scooter, e.g.). Delicious breakfast. We can totally recommend this hidden gem. If we ever come back to Sigiriya it would definitely be at holly flowers villa 🌺

I have no words to express my feelings at this property Cascading River, just offering mind relaxing feeling . Excellent service, very clean rooms, delicious food . Please don’t forget to try Srilankan rice and curry menu for your one meal. Very silent place to spend your holiday They have river view rooms also.(A Frame cabana) Staff was very friendly and flexible. Price also reasonable and worth. No need more words.
