River, Mountain Retreat at 四万十Accommodation is situated in Mihara Village. The property features mountain and garden views. Rosie was incredibly welcoming and had a lot of wonderful advice for local activities. The house was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was fantastic! Very peaceful location, great to relax in nature

Featuring free WiFi, Oyamanoyado Michitsuji is an 100-year old, traditional Japanese-style home in Otoyocho. Free private parking is available on site. AMAZING! The hosts are wonderful and lovely. We were greeted as friends. The views are amazing and the traditional guest house is very well kept and maintained. And the FOOD! WOW! The food was delicious and as good as you would get in the best of restaurants! It was great to get to eat with and talk with our hosts so we could better understand each other’s cultures and experiences. Such a highlight of our journey to Japan. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Go off the beaten path a little to better understand this beautiful country.
