We were greeted by Seiko who gave us the key and she was the perfect host during our stay. The house is a renovated akiya and it has been done to such a high standard! It is so comfortable and we had a really great time! There is also a really cute coffee shop next door and the lady who runs it sells great coffee and food, and is really friendly! The location is fantastic as it is so close to the nature in the region in order to get out and explore! We had a motorcycle and it was great to be located on the edge of the city so that we could head out on adventures! All in all, I would 100% recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants a comfortable stay in Shimanto City!

It was unique, clean and everything we needed. Most wonderful hosts, we feel very lucky to have met them! The breakfast was deliciously homemade and enough to keep us full until after lunch. Especially the pancakes with the homemade jam were the best! Enough space for a family and near a beautiful river. Would recommend to everyone!

Very spacious, serene location overlooking the river and a short walk from one of the submersible bridges. The house had everything we needed and is beautifully renovated while still containing original features of a traditional Japanese house. The futons were very comfortable to sleep. We will be back!

Nice bathroom. Free parking. Nice supermarked right next door. All was perfect.

We also enjoyed the proximity to the town and the beach. The location is great. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. We will definitely book again!
