We had 2 weeks in Iceland and travelled around the country. We stayed in 5 different locations, all special and unique. But Gljásteinn was a little corner of paradise. Róbert built his house with so much passion and love and respect for the nature around it, it is very impressive. He was there to guide us, to give us some good tips about where to eat, what to explore, and the whole experience was simply wonderful.

Hot tub was nice for relaxing at night. Great communication with hosts and easy check-in. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a place to spend a few nights in the Golden Circle area.

It's great for the whole family. The living room is great to spend some time together in the evening after a long day travelling around the Golden Circle. The decor is a bit vintage, but it feels really cosy and totally worth the price. The apartment is well equipped for a shorter or longer stay. The city is quite small and the apartment is quite central, so you can easily access a great Food Hall for example. The host was really nice :)

Everything, accommodation was brilliant, hot tub perfect, surroundings stunning nestles in against the mountains.
