We had such a lovely time at this beautifully decorated cottage, exactly as shown in the pictures. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home! Donald, is an incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive host. He was always available for any questions or issues, and even made sure to pump up the radiators manually when the temperatures here in Scotland suddenly dropped, which we really appreciated. The cottage is perfectly located, close to the stunning Butt of Lewis and several breathtaking beaches. It was such a nice and cosy feeling to come home after a long day outside. We felt so comfortable during our entire stay, and the serene surroundings made it all the more special. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and peaceful getaway!

The washroom was spacious and had a jet tub. The kitchen was the highlight for me and beautiful to cook a meal in. And we had a visiting chicken!

Cleod9 -Croft house at 9 Garenin is gelegen in Carloway en biedt gratis WiFi en uitzicht op de zee. The location of the cottage is absolutely fabulous! Set right next to the Black Houses, close to the beach, at the start of the cliff walking path. The community shop is easily reached by car... The house is wonderful, cozy, spacious, calming, peaceful and perfect for a group of 4-6 travelers. The photographs in the house are very special bringing the outside to the inside and the pictures of the past connect right with modern comfortable times. The kitchen has everything you need, the stove is fabulous. From the windows you can see amazing sunsets and cute sheep. Highly recommended!

Modern Refurbished Church nr Butt of Lewis beaches bevindt zich in Port of Ness, op 43 km van Museum Nan Eilean, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi. Amazing property that’s had a lot of time and money spent to get it so lovely. Very modern and well thought out with lovely little touches. Was exceptionally clean, everything in it is brand new. Great communication from host with any queries. We liked the location, was quite windy due to being exposed but it felt like you were escaping the everyday stresses, the main reason we came to Lewis. The property is surrounded by sheep which is nice however keep this in mind if bringing dogs, there isn’t a garden area as such to let them off. We just walked our little one across the road so really not an issue for us. Overall a really lovely stay but we did run into problems with the ferry and couldn’t stay on in the house due to cleaners schedules, even though it was empty. Worth keeping in mind too when booking a property through a company rather than a local, as ferry cancellations can happen a lot which we found out this weekend and had to stay on another couple of days again. If you’re thinking of booking go for it, you won’t be disappointed as it’s an amazing place!

Braighe Cottage bevindt zich in Stornoway en biedt gratis WiFi en uitzicht op de zee. Great location, close to the airport. Not a busy airport, so no noise. Good size on rooms. Very comfy beds! Large, well-equipped kitchen. Beautiful view - we even forgot there was a dishwasher and washed up by hand, admiring the view 😂 We arrived on a Sunday, with all the shops closed. But there was cheese, biscuits and fruit at the house - very much appreciated! Owner answered messages within minutes and made sure everything was OK. Friendly neighbours.

Everything, from the warm welcome and thoughtful welcome gifts for the time of year (Christmas). Warm and cosy with views across the loch to the hills beyond from conservatory. The cottage was well equipped with everything needed to make your stay perfect. We hope to return.

Coll Farm House ligt in Back en biedt gratis WiFi en uitzicht op de zee. De accommodatie bevindt zich op 4 minuten lopen van Traigh Chuil Beach, en heeft een tuin en gratis privé parkeergelegenheid. It was a comfortable, spacious house with a view of the beach & ocean. It is out of town & easy to get around the island. The owner left a lovely basket of goodies to welcome us.
