Offering a garden and sea view, Cleod9 -Croft house at 9 Garenin is situated in Carloway, 14 km from Callanish Standing Stones and 28 km from Museum Nan Eilean. The location of the cottage is absolutely fabulous! Set right next to the Black Houses, close to the beach, at the start of the cliff walking path. The community shop is easily reached by car... The house is wonderful, cozy, spacious, calming, peaceful and perfect for a group of 4-6 travelers. The photographs in the house are very special bringing the outside to the inside and the pictures of the past connect right with modern comfortable times. The kitchen has everything you need, the stove is fabulous. From the windows you can see amazing sunsets and cute sheep. Highly recommended!

Amazing property that’s had a lot of time and money spent to get it so lovely. Very modern and well thought out with lovely little touches. Was exceptionally clean, everything in it is brand new. Great communication from host with any queries. We liked the location, was quite windy due to being exposed but it felt like you were escaping the everyday stresses, the main reason we came to Lewis. The property is surrounded by sheep which is nice however keep this in mind if bringing dogs, there isn’t a garden area as such to let them off. We just walked our little one across the road so really not an issue for us. Overall a really lovely stay but we did run into problems with the ferry and couldn’t stay on in the house due to cleaners schedules, even though it was empty. Worth keeping in mind too when booking a property through a company rather than a local, as ferry cancellations can happen a lot which we found out this weekend and had to stay on another couple of days again. If you’re thinking of booking go for it, you won’t be disappointed as it’s an amazing place!

Offering a garden and sea view, Braighe Cottage is located in Stornoway, 2.5 km from Traigh Mhealaboist Beach and 32 km from Callanish Standing Stones. The location was a great base for exploring different areas of the Island by car and close enough to the ferry terminal and grocery shops/town. The house was fresh and comfortable with both traditional and modern touches. It was welcoming, had everything we needed, and felt like home from home. The welcome pack was a lovely touch also. We had an amazing time and hope to return again in the future. Highly recommend!!
