The entire property was lovely, quiet and relaxing. The views were beautiful. Both the sauna and hot tub were of high quality. The property was also within 20mins of various farm shops and attractions. The host was very welcoming and attentive. We received a very detailed welcome pack with map pins for local points of interest and farm shops.

Easy to get to and find (the blue walls do help - You see it in approach :). Everything brand new and pristine. As if the Owner refurbished it for themselves. Nice design. Warm and cosy. Everything we weary travellers needed! And, a bonus there: a shelf filled with maps, guide Books and ideas what to do and where to go! Bed comfy, bedlinen and towels as in best Hotels. Shower felt luxurious, plenty of hot water. Easy to heat up the lounge area with a little electric fire, important on wet days! Top tip: BlackLion neighbouring pub has delicious food and great atmosphere, good for dinner. Go and find out, worth it.

The location was absolutely fantastic - so easy to reach pretty much anywhere else in the town. Very handy to have the Spar next door. It was very quiet despite being on one of the main roads. In terms of the place itself - it was so clean and well appointed. It had basically anything we could need, including very thoughtful extras like local milk and bread.

The cottage was amazing and the facilities were a great addition. The view was outstanding, watching the sun rise every morning from the cottage window was beautiful. Having access to the spa and pool after a day of exploring helped us to relax and unwind. The children loved having their own upstairs space along with all the outside space for playing and running around.

Hay Retreats er staðsett í rólegu botnlanga nálægt miðbænum. Það eru tvö gæludýravæn bæjarhús í nágrenninu, númer 25 og 26. A spacious and clean apartment with plenty of room for our family of four. We really enjoyed the location just around the corner from the main clock tower, and luckily in town during the Thursday farmers market, which was lovely. The apartment was well furnished with comfy couch and two arm chairs on main floor (with plenty of board games to keep us occupied), full size dining table on bottom floor with a large outdoor area overlooking the river and large kitchen. Bedrooms were comfy and our kids loved their twin bedded room. Overall, a fantastic stay!
