Cabin was clean and warm. Location was good as many things to do within driving distance. Would definitely recommend it. Perfect if you're looking for somewhere to base yourself. Going up ladder for top bed good for older kids.

Offering a garden and river view, The Fiddichside Inn is located in Aberlour, 30 km from Huntly Castle and 35 km from Grantown Museum. Location of this accomodation is great. In the same building at Fiddichside in. Which is a great local to go to, really friendly staff, great whisky at great prices. Very close to highlander, craigellachie and easy access to the walk all the way into Aberlour. We love it here and will definitely go back! The lounge, kitchen and rooms were all exactly what we like in a place.

Featuring a garden and views of inner courtyard, Brylach Steading is a holiday home situated in a historic building in Aberlour, 12 km from Elgin Cathedral. Perfect location beautiful scenery and very friendly hosts. We could not fault this place.

Set in Ballater and only 15 km from Balmoral Castle, Aileen - Unique tiny house with wood fired roll top bath in heart of the Cairngorms offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free... The location was fantastic, a quite location set still only a short drive along the road for the village. The tiny house was such a high standard, when I seen the pictures before booking and then the size of the house I thought no way it’s that big in side but it really was.

Set in Stonehaven, Stonehaven ground floor home with a spectacular harbour view. Offers a restaurant and sea views, 200 metres from Carron Beach and less than 1 km from Cowie Beach. Every thing was perfect , plenty of room and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook , Paul Hollywood would be impressed , bathroom just needs a shower tidy for bottles , the beds were really comfy , the location is absolutely brilliant right on the harbour , it isn’t noisy it’s a nice sound of people enjoying themselves , you can literally roll to the harbour pub/restaurants which are nice . Some great walks and the off road parking space is a bonus .

Set 34 km from Inverness Castle, 26 km from Castle Stuart Golf Links and 29 km from Elgin Cathedral, Macbeth's Hillock offers accommodation located in Forres. I liked the peaceful location, the cleanliness, and the facilities. We had everything that we needed, and it was a lovely upgrade from camping. Having our own bathroom and kitchen in the pod makes it convenient and comfortable compared to similar places we have stayed in the past. We enjoyed making use of the BBQ/ fire pit that has been provided for each pod.

Offering a garden and garden view, Invercauld Lodges is situated in Ballater, 18 km from Balmoral Castle and 46 km from CairnGorm National Park. Walking distance to almost everything I needed in the village shopping area. The proximity to Balmoral Castle really surprised me too. Well manicured and very quiet neighbourhood, exactly what I wanted for a good break. Full marks to the self-catering facilities and cottage arrangement.

Featuring garden views, Fairdene Cottage features accommodation with a patio, around 18 km from Balmoral Castle. Fairdene Cottage was perfect. So adorable and comfortable. I was able to visit Balmoral and also the Ballater train station with a replica of Queen Victoria's train carriage. I loved everything about the cottage and its location.
