Set in Tarves in the Grampian region, Cosy and modern 1 bedroom garden house - very dog friendly! offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. I visited this property with my wife. The location and the surrounding area of this tiny house are very beautiful and the most important was cleanliness inside. It has a private bathroom and a small kitchenette. Picking up of the key was very smoothly and the lady who rent the property was really helpful throughout our stay.

Boasting garden views, Alba - Charming boutique forest view cabin with hot tub in Ballater features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 15 km from Balmoral Castle. Cabin was clean and warm. Location was good as many things to do within driving distance. Would definitely recommend it. Perfect if you're looking for somewhere to base yourself. Going up ladder for top bed good for older kids.

Offering a garden and river view, The Fiddichside Inn is located in Aberlour, 30 km from Huntly Castle and 35 km from Grantown Museum. Communication with owner was fare above average, friendly and informative. Easy walking distance to Highlander Inn or Craigellachie Hotell for a meal. Wifi worked well and the setting of The Fiddichside Inn must be experienced to understand it. A perfect place to stay if you are in the area for hiking, salmon/trout fishing, photographing, distillery experiences, Scottish history and lots more. Surely a go back to place!

Featuring a garden and views of inner courtyard, Brylach Steading is a holiday home situated in a historic building in Aberlour, 12 km from Elgin Cathedral. It’s nestled in near the woods and it’s peaceful. The surrounding view is majestic especially with an exclusive castle nearby. The premise felt safe bec it has an open compound and my dog can roam freely inside the compound.

Every thing was perfect , plenty of room and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook , Paul Hollywood would be impressed , bathroom just needs a shower tidy for bottles , the beds were really comfy , the location is absolutely brilliant right on the harbour , it isn’t noisy it’s a nice sound of people enjoying themselves , you can literally roll to the harbour pub/restaurants which are nice . Some great walks and the off road parking space is a bonus .

Having our own bathroom and kitchen in the pod makes it convenient and comfortable compared to similar places we have stayed in the past. We enjoyed making use of the BBQ/ fire pit that has been provided for each pod.

The proximity to Balmoral Castle really surprised me too. Well manicured and very quiet neighbourhood, exactly what I wanted for a good break. Full marks to the self-catering facilities and cottage arrangement.
