Pergola Cottage is a lovely place to stay - well-appointed, very clean and perfectly situated for exploring the Borders - the Abbeys, Abbotsford, Traquair House and so forth. And after nearly 2 weeks in B&Bs, it was nice to be able to spread out and have a little more space to ourselves. The bed and furniture were comfy. Having our own equipped kitchen (w/garden view!) and washing machine was especially nice; there’s a small grocer in nearby (and also lovely) Melrose - the Co-Op on High Street - where you can pick up the essentials, like coffee (French Press!).

Set in Eyemouth and only 300 metres from Eyemouth Beach, Upper Deck offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Well located, perfectly set out, great facilities including TV streaming and fast wi fi -- essential for the younger members of our party. Great touches too -- chilled water, biscuits, coffee and tea for our arrival, loads of local information. Immaculate too. Log burner wasn't necessary for our summer stay but would be great in cooler weather. Host was really helpful prior to our arrival.

Rustic Lodge Retreat at Riverview Holiday Park is set in Newcastleton, 38 km from Cumbria County Council, 38 km from Carlisle Railway Station, as well as 39 km from Carlisle Castle. Beautiful place! So well equipped, they thought of everything! Comfortable, cosey and warm,

Mid Row Cottage is located in Lauder, 43 km from University of Edinburgh, 43 km from Royal Mile, and 43 km from National Museum of Scotland. Great location, all necessary facilities and very warm and comfortable.

The Bothy, Press Mains Farm Cottages, a property with a garden, is located in Eyemouth, 41 km from Tantallon Castle, 27 km from Dunbar Golf Club, as well as 28 km from Winterfield Golf Club. Location scenery close to sons home

Situated in Eyemouth and only 200 metres from Eyemouth Beach, Lovely 3-Bed Lodge in Eyemouth with stunning views features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Location had lovely views. A bit far away for us for the beach. Host was Amazing couldn't have been more welcoming. Put up Christmas decorations and left a little basket of goodies for us.

Set in Eyemouth, the recently renovated Driftwood offers accommodation 300 metres from Eyemouth Beach and 15 km from The Maltings Theatre & Cinema. Clean, good furnishings, spacious, everything we could possibly need was provided.
